A Retreat for Writers, Seekers & the Quietly Curious

There is a voice inside you that already knows what it wants to say.

This retreat is designed to help you hear it.

Find Your Inner Guide is a transformative multi-day experience that weaves together somatic body practices, guided meditation, immersive nature walks, and intentional writing to help you reconnect with your most authentic creative self, what we call your inner author.

What to Expect

Many of us carry our stories in our bodies long before we find words for them. Through gentle somatic practices, you'll learn to listen to what your body holds, releasing tension, unlocking sensation, and creating the conditions for real creative emergence.

From that grounded, open place, guided meditations will deepen your concentration and awareness to quiet the inner critic that so often stands between you and the page. How to use music and singing to activate innate creativity and flow. Daily walks through nature invite a slower pace, a chance to observe, absorb, and remember that creativity doesn't live only at a desk.

And then: the writing. Not an exercise, not a prompt for a grade. A conversation with yourself. Supportive writing guidance helps you translate what you've felt and witnessed into words that are unmistakably yours.

Who This Is For

You don't need to call yourself a writer to belong here. This retreat is for anyone who feels they have something to express and hasn't quite found the door. Whether you're working on a book, processing a life chapter, or simply longing to reconnect with your own inner knowing, Find Your Inner Guide meets you exactly where you are.

In Relationship with the Land

Creativity has never been a solitary act. Long before there were books, there were people sitting with the earth: listening, noticing, being changed by what they witnessed and offering something back.

At Find Your Inner Guide, we hold reciprocity with the land not as a concept but as a practice. The places we walk, rest, and write in are not a backdrop to our work, they are participants in it. The land holds memory, rhythm, and intelligence that predates human language by millennia. When we slow down enough to receive what it offers, something in us is called into deeper integrity.

Creativity, at its root, is an act of exchange. We take in the world, its beauty, its grief, its complexity and we transform it into something that can be passed on. This is how stories have always moved through time. This is how cultures evolve. And it begins with the willingness to be in genuine relationship: to receive, yes, but also to give back through attention, through care, through the act of bearing witness with honesty and love.

In this way, writing is not separate from the living world. It is one of the oldest forms of reciprocity we have. When you find your inner author, you are not just finding your voice, you are finding your place in a much longer conversation.
